Judson Henry Holt and Elmina Holt

While Judson Henry Holt was running the Lotus Studio, he often used himself or his wife as a subject, probably to check lighting and positioning. So we are fortunate to have several pictures of the two.

Judson Henry Holt's Sisters

Judson Holt had two sisters, Lavernia und Lucretia. We have a picture of Judson Henry with Lavernia and Lucretia, possibly taken when Lucretia came to Kansas for a visit. The next picture is one of Henry Sparks and Permilia Holt together with their three children.

We also have pictures of Lavernia and her (first) husband William Leeman. Various postcards and inscriptions imply that he died young and she remarried at least once and possibly twice.

The Wallace Clan

We have several pictures that seem to be the Wallace side of the family. The first picture may be Sarah Wallace and her daughters. The next two pictures may be Wallace girls or cousins.
